FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTONS

HERE IT IS. THE LOW DOWN. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!

1. DO YOU HAVE BEGINNER CLASSES?

Sometimes. We fundamentally believe that you should come to the class that fits your schedule! Yoga Tribe is a noncompetitive community focused environment where we encourage everyone to practice at their own pace! That said, if you are new to yoga and looking for a more slow moving, relaxing experience, try our Yin, Restorative, Lunar, or Slow Flow classes. If you are looking for something more vigorous, try any of our vinyasa classes. EVERYONE is overwhelmed and feels a little silly and confused their first time (or two) practicing yoga! COME ANYWAY! We've GOT you! And, do stay tuned on our schedule for Beginner workshops or classes, which we offer sporadically throughout the year!

2. WHAT DO I WEAR?

You're gonna move, you'll probably sweat, and you'll very likely be bending over... That said, fitted clothing and layers usually work best. Thank goodness athleisure is a "thing" now! Yoga-ish pants or leggings, athletic wear, etc. will do the job. I.E. baggy t-shirts aren't so great for bending over, and shorts are gonna show off lots of leg and maybe your bum, so plan accordingly! That said, we have no dress code. We just appreciate you being dressed! If you know you are a sweat-er, bring yourself a towel!

3. DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR A CLASS AHEAD OF TIME?

Technically, no. But we sure appreciate it when you do! Booking your spot in a class ahead of time gives our teachers better information on how to prepare for class. It also give us the ability to call, text, or email you if there is a cancellation or change on the schedule!

4. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A CLASS?

This can happen 2 ways. 1.From a computer:  go to mindbodyonline.com and search for Yoga Tribe MN. Create your profile and book your class! 1. From a phone: download the MIND BODY app, and add Yoga Tribe MN as one of your favorites. Pull up the schedule and book your class! We offer a variety of punch cards and passes, including the option to simply "Drop In" for $15. We also have some donation-based classes. You can make your donation online when you book, or bring a cash donation to class. *We do ask for a minimum donation of $5. An hour of yoga is definitely worth a fancy cup of coffee!

5. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are located near the corner of Broadway and 4th Street, just 3 doors down from Mango Thai, and across the street from Cafe Steam. You can enter the studio from the front door -- or from the alley.

6. WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

There are many options for parking, including a metered parking lot right behind our building, off of 3rd Street, and a parking ramp adjacent to the metered lot. All metered parking is free after 5:00 on weekdays, and all weekend long! There are also meters along Broadway Avenue next to the Riverside building, where our friendly neighbor Limb Lab is located.

7. WHAT CLASS SHOULD I ATTEND?

The mind body software that we use for booking includes descriptions for each class, so feel free to check our classes out there. We have also included class descriptions below! *PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MIND BODY APP/SITE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE MOST UPDATED VERSION OF OUR SCHEDULE!
